Kyle Brutschy, founder

After 20 years working as a machinist in Silicon Valley job shops, making precision parts for high tech medical, scientific and aerospace companies, I founded San Francisco Machine Works in 2000 to provide quick turn-around, local, precision CNC machining to the growing SF creative and startup community. Since 2000 I have done work for laboratories at UCSF and Stanford, SolarCity, startups including Emotimo, Formelife, Osaro and Memphis Meats, product development companies such as Mindtribe, as well as local artists and craftspeople. 

I support kids in STEM by mentoring FIRST robotics teams.  San Francisco Machine Works is a member of SFMade .
